Hi,

The Wiki highly recommends using SMTP over the PHP Mail function for outgoing mail, because of spam filters.

I'm getting the reverse problem, of bounce back messages hotmail mostly, when using SMTP. Using PHP Mail appears to get around the problem.

Is the potential spam problem, the only reason not to use PHP Mail function, or are their other disadvatages?
