Microsoft Exchange Setup

Hi all,

I am new to osTicket, I just installed it for some testing to see if we want to implement this.

Currently, we have a Microsoft Exchange server 2003 which we want to use with osTicket. We plan on hosting osTicket on our external website, I have customized everything to how we'd like it except for the mail settings.

I am completely clueless as to how I'd set up osTicket to use existing exchange accounts. I hope someone can give me some guidance, I've looked through the wiki and it's not entirely helpful for an exchange server.

Also there's not much mentioned in the forums that I can find, so thanks for your help!

I got it figured out, ended up using IMAP from outlook.

with fetching enabled it automatically created support tickets for the last 200+ emails I'd received on the account so that was a bit annoying but other then that it went smoothly.

Yeah I had problems getting POP to work right, and IMAP worked when I set it up so I stuck with IMAP. If I remember correctly I figured out afterwards that Exchange 2003 was the first version of exchange to come with out POP enabled by default. We've since migrated to Exchange 2007.

I can't seem to get IMAP to work for me. Keeps saying

IMAP connection broken (server response)

Kampf please post your own thread with your own description of your problem. Please include version of OST, version of Exchange, and error messages your seeing. Thanks.
