What is the best php editor to edite the php files for OSTicket?
That would depend on what your definition of 'best' is. For me, vi is the best - but that might be just me... ;)
But seriously, what do you expect/need the editor to do beyond just editing text with possibly syntax highlighting?
big fan of notepad++ here.
select your language and it helps quite a bit with making sure your syntax is right.

I personally use HTMLKit from Chami.com. I also occasionally use Notepad and Notepad+. Really I think its all about finding a tool that your comfortable with.

I use Aptana Studio a lot because of the FTP integration. For quick stuff on my windows machine I use NP++. Aptana is available for windows and mac and its free :)
I use netbeans... it has built in history and syntax.
I like (Codelobster PHP Edition)
It is free and has everything that i need.
