i had some troubles to send out mails for new created tickets by smtp.
After a lot of trial and error... i got it working for me, and maybe this helps someone else here.
I always got smtp errors, like unable to email via smtp.
In the Admin Panel under emails i had some german characters in the field for Email Name: in our company name there is an รถ
After deleting / replacing that character it works fine. For the moment i only use a-z, with nothing else in.
As a workaround that is fine for me, maybe this could fixed in a future release.
