blank page

I was wondering if someone can help me with my issue, just recently i upgraded my hosting to a new server, so i backed up my database and restored the database to the new server, and then i upgraded to php 5.3

and i followed these instructions just to make sure i dont have any issues with pho 5.3.

I am not getting any errors or anything which is good, the only problem i am having is when i go to open a support ticket and i click on submit all i am getting is a white page for some reason

if someoen could possibly take a look at see what could be going on i would appreciate it...

also when they click the submit button instead of giving you the thank you ticket has been created message it gives you a blank page, then i check the admin, and i can see the ticket i created....

i dont know if this is a known issue with using php 5.3 or not, the only thing i found is people using version 5.3 were getting error messages.

update

update:

I wanted to be sure it wasnt not a language issue, so what i did was change the programming language from 5.3 back to 5.2 and this did not correct the problem i still am getting a blank page.....

also when i am in the admin and click post reply i also get a blank page.

Check your server error logs. When I create a ticket I get the below error:

Thanks for the reply, this is strange to me, because all i did was transfer all the databases and the files to the new server, all my other things works such as phpbb, and wordpress....

and before i transfered all the files to the new server everything with osticket worked fine, i have not made no edits in the program since i transfered it a couple of days ago...

also when i use firefox, i acually get a blank page but if i use internet explorer after trying to submit ticket i get an internal 500 message...

I have had errors before butt that was because my hosting companys databases were down and it wasnt letting osticket connect to the database...

i checked the error log and i dont have any errors for today when me and you both tried submitting a ticket...

well theres 2 area that i can check logs , i can login to osticket and see what kind of system logs its showing

or i can login to my server and check the server logs if i log into osticket it doesnt show any error log

if i login to my server i only show 1 error which i have no clue what it means

the error log for the server shows 1 file names .htacess and when i open to see what it shows for error, all it says is Options +Indexes

then i see another one that says apache logs, i can send the apache log one to u if u can understand it, theres like a bunch of stuff in there and i cant make heads or tails of it

nah i dont have cpanel, i have godaddy hosting which doesnt offer cpanel they have their own kind of panel.

Click Web Hosting.

Next to the hosting account you want to use, click Launch.

From the Content menu, select FTP File Manager.

From the directory structure that displays, click Error Logs.

oh ok thats what i did it showed me 2 type of log folders

so i clciked on the error log folder and it only showed 2 file and that was the .htacess

then it also showed error.log file and i opened it up and this is the message it says

RSA server certificate CommonName (CN) `jaysonberger.com' does NOT match server name!?

but i dont think this pertains to osticket, this i think was the problem i had with the ssl not working when i transfered it to the new hosting but they finally got the ssl certificate working.

More then likley i will have to re install osticket, i did a couple of things people said to try and do, one in which they said to download a fresh copy of osticket and take out the include/client/open.inc and replace the old one and that didnt fix the issue...

I just hate to have to re install because of all the customizations i had done over the past couple of years....

Nope i dont have any other server/host that i can upload the modified version to...

What i did was i was on an old server called the 2gh "2nd generation server"

then i upgraded to the 4gh "4th generation server" grid hosting.

Godaddy walked me through the whole process to insure that i wouldnt loose anything, we backed up all databases, and all files on old server and transffered them too the new server and restored all databases and reattached all the strings to the appropriate php files.

I could always just install a new version of osticket to make sure it at least will work ok on the server, so if the new installation works ok, then my modified version should work i would think.

also i just remembered but i dont think this should matter, when changing servers the absolute hosting path changed.
