all suggestions from forum tested about wrong time problem

Hi all,

i have the same problem with create time ticket, ex: if i create a ticket at 1 pm on status he show me 3 pm

tested:

1. i have (for test) just 1 user (admin), so we can exclude is other user with different Preferred Timezone

2. Default Timezone: GMT+2

3. Preferred Timezone (admin): GMT+2

4. server time - ok

5. php.ini: date.timezone = "Europe/Bucharest" (means GMT+2)

So, can anybody tell me what i can do, because i start to be annoying :)

Can you try setting this in your php.ini:

date.timezone = "Etc/GMT+2"

Please let me know if that helps at all. I'm curious as to why you are experiencing this issue.

if i put that in php.ini its worst :)

i made a test with fake login and look the attachment for the answer, and i think all problem is from source, maybe from class.format.php, but i can tell you, on my web server i was have a commerce site and i didn't have that problems with time...

I'm not sure why you would make a new user to look at this, but since you did: did you then go and make sure that the users default time zone was correctly set in their profile?

how i told in my first post

the screenshot is from admin interface, the fake login was made from client interface... i want just to enter something in Systemlogs to see the time...

But, i was going to class.format.php and i was change that:

return date($format,($gmtimestamp+($offset*3600)));

with this:

return date($format,($gmtimestamp+($offset*0)));

The only drawback with that modification is on my profile, i see some wrong time... but it doesn't matter until the correct time it's sowed correctly on ticket.
