We use Groove or SharePoint Workspace internally to share files and a user has asked if we can link to files from ost.
If you copy a Groove link it formats as "groove://bpjrnei2y9sd6hhfhwb5t777t6b8eatrpijk5ga/ToolContainer/GrooveDefaultFiles.Tool_dy7wuhza7it5n/DocumentShareEngine/etc......" and won't open in a web browser, but it will open in windows explorer. Outlook and Office handle the link generation OK too.
would it be possible to mod ost to get "groove:" to be recognised as a clickableurl and to open via explorer rather than in a browser?
