problem sending mails

i am trying to configure osticket to send mails from pineapp as mail server and i am getting the following error (of curse i changed the real domain name):

Dec 25 16 Centos-mon sendmail: pBPEF2Mc009583: SYSERR(root): osticket.domain.com. config error: mail loops back to me (MX problem?)

Dec 25 16 Centos-mon sendmail: pBPEF2Ot009586: osticket.tdomain.com did not issue MAIL/EXPN/VRFY/ETRN during connection to MTA

when i am configuring to send from exchange as relay all works good.

any idea?

I would call and talk to PineApp's tech support and see if there is any light that they can shed on the issue. Perhaps it requires SSL or something... I do not know enough about the appliance to actually really assist you.
