Issues with logging in

I'm having a weird issue logging into my osTicket install.

On internet explorer, I'll input my credentials and click Login, and it will take me to a page cannot be displayed error, with the url being *mydomain*.com/osticket/scp/login.php (which I have confirmed is there). When I get to this page, if I just hit the back button it will bring me to my staff panel with a list of tickets, and work fine from then on out.

If I try to log in through chrome, I'll input my credentials, click log in, and the screen flashes and brings me back to the login page with the fields still filled out, like it just refreshed the page. If I click log in one more time it logs me in and works fine from then on out. I have no system log errors, or any mysql errors.

Cannot seem to get my head around this one.

Edit: Sorry, I forgot to add I'm running the latest osTicket (installed 2 weeks ago), with php version 5.2.5 (my server hosting company says this is as high as I could go, I got tired of arguing with them), and I'm running mysql version 5.0.67

I tried this issue at home, and while it does do the same thing, my ISP has a "helpful" search page instead of a page cannot be found. It's url was this:

It looks like it isnt adding a "/" after the .com

Could that be my issue? Why would this only happen once, and then work find after I hit the back button?

Honestly it sounds like a problem with your hosting company to me.

If you are willing to do some footwork you could clone the installation to your local machine and see if it exhibits the same sort of behavior.

I just tried that on my linux server, works without a problem. This is installed on a Windows server with IIS. Is there anywhere in the codebase where I can hardcode the redirect after the login credentials have been verified?
