setup OSTicket in Local Machine

Hi,

i am trying to setup OSTicket in my local machine. i done like this first i download all files in server through Filezilla and also download my sql database.in local machine i am using wampserver. in that www root i create one folder "TestInndocs1" in that i copied my osticket setup file "isupport". i start wampserver and in browser i open as "http://localhost/TestInndocs1/isupport/" i got error as "Fatal Error: Contact system adminstrator." while i open like this "http://localhost/TestInndocs1/isupport/setup/" i got bellow error

osTicket requires short open tags enabled

Unfortunately osTicket requires that short_open_tag be on. We plan on removing the requirement in the upcoming version(s). Our apologies for the inconvienence.

Enabling short_open_tag

Depending on your server permission level - the directive can be set on in php.ini, .htaccess or httpd.conf.

is it possible OSTicket setup will setup in local machine if yes is this process correct r not, if no, how to go, please help me how to setup in local machine for OSTicket

Sounds okay to me. You will need to go into your php.ini and enable short tags.

You should look for an entry under Language Options that says:

short_open_tag = Off

and change it to:

short_open_tag = On

Save the php.ini. Depending on how you installed PHP the location of the php.ini will vary. You may have to search for it.
