been looking through this application and it seems that it should work fine for us. we are a mechanical service company. we provide regular and emergency services for our clients. basically, we provide schedule service twice a month on specific days and allow for 24 hour emergency call out. this means we must respond within 24 hours to an emergency. additionally, we might have a service request that can wait until we come out for the next schedule service. so our clients could make a service request for 24 hr emergency request or a service request that would be carried out on the next scheduled service call.
osticket seems to have a nice way of keeping all parties up to date on the status of a ticket via email. i have a few question that i would love input and help on
1. is there any way to attach photos to a ticket? it would be very helpful if the client could attach a photo of a specific problem.
2. this question may not be a osticket issue. we have specific duties we must preform twice a month. i would love a way to put service requirement forms on the site. a check list of items that we must preform that the technician would do and then fill in the form. everyone could then see that the service has been done. i would like to keep the forms archived for future reference if needed.
