[mod] HTML Email Template

Hey, I successfully figured out a way to get a custom HTML email template work with osTicket. It also works with the --Do Not Edit-- tags so the user can reply and the message will be added to the system. In order to do this you have to follow this tutorial (HTML Email Template) to get HTML working in the email system. After you do that you have to modify the class.ticket.php file to prevent the system from adding --Do Not Edit-- to every outgoing email. Instead the HTML template will do this automatically. When everything is finished this is your result:

I Can´t see the HTML updated in my email

After install this mod and configure the html_template field in the SQL database, I can enter some HTML code in the new field that appear in the Preferences panel.

Bud I can´t see how this be appliyed...

I need put any variable in the text message???

The HTML emails work great, but the problem is tripping the replies. In which code exactly does your mod replace the --Do Not Edit-- separator? Maybe I can fix my issue! :)

Hi,

I've changed class.ticket.php so that it never sends the -- do not edit -- (search for seperator and you'll find five lines orso that add the seperatorline to $body, just cancel them out by putting // in front of it) and i've put the -- do not edit -- in the HTML template.

This works fine. Because not every message is inteded to be replied on, i changed the line -- do not edit -- to :

-- message from megatool.nl --

This way, it just looks like an anouncement and not like an invitation to reply
