Using $this when not in object context

Hi,

I'm getting error:

Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in .../support/include/class.email.php on line 227

I have been searching and searching where this is coming from, only changes I've made to code are in mysql.php in includes for the function to execute db query is not using an other function from my system (which works just fine).

Has anybody got any idea where this is from?

Are you sure that you haven't changed include/class.email.php?

I went and looked at the default class.email.php and do not see anything near that line (227) that would cause this error. What changes did you make to mysql.php?

Hi,

Yeah I'm sure I didn't change nothing in class.email.php I even re-uploaded all files to try. Stupid thing I had an exact copy running just fine on other server so I think it is related to server settings (this error started when I upgraded to mysql 5.1 and php 5.3; however the other server which was running exact copy was also running that).

I checked the file myself also but it just seems to be a problem how that function is called.

The change I made in mysql class were simple, instead of using the osticket method to connect I edited it so it uses a function to execute queries from my own system.
