Refresh Issues After Updating Tickets in the SCP

Hello,

I am having an issue after editing an open ticket. After editing the ticket, I click on submit and the page goes back to the ticket view screen; however, not all of the fields refresh to reflect the changes that I made. I have to refresh the growers to see the changes that I made during the edit. I noticed that the fields that don't refresh are the fields that have drop-down lists such as department and help topics. I am running OsTicket version 1.6.0 and PHP 5.3.6.

Any Suggestions?

I tried to replicate this behavior an was unable to. (although we only have one department in my implementation) I modified the Priority and Help Topic drop downs on edit ticket, saved and the data displayed properly when it went back to the ticket view page.

What web browser do you use? Is it possible that it's a caching issue with your browser?

I tried using Firefox, Safari and Internet Explorer browsers. I also emptied the cache.

I did not notice the issue until I added additional drop-down fields. I have 2 in addition to the Departments, and Help Topics field.

Another side effect to the issue is that once you refresh the the screen, it re-submits the form data and therefore you end up with duplicate entries for Internal Notes.

Since there is no Departments field in the update/edit ticket page by default, then you should use the "Department Transfer" feature from Dept. Transfer tab in the ticket view page.

I am sorry..I mistakenly referenced the Departments field as one of the fields I have on the Edit\Update tickets page; however, I do not have that field added to the page. I have 2 custom drop-down list fields in addition to the Help Topics field.
