Hi i have 2 systems.

I tested OS ticket on my BETA system (worked amazing).

I decided to try OS ticket on my other system.

It will not retrieve IMAPS mail. (gmail)

ERROR: Can't connect to gmail-imap.l.google.com,993: Connection timed out

The only difference is some PHP setting on the server.

*** POP works and I know it POP uses IMAP PHP normally functions so i am thinking it may be some kind of library or parsing. I don't want to install all of the below. Anyone know what one

I was thinking it could be permissions but i checked them all. They APPEAR OK.

My development server has these extras.

Can you tell me what PHP extension needs added.

I would personally create a test.php with the following contents on each server.

<?php phpinfo(); ?>

Open them in a browser side by side and then compare the two.

Good idea.

The differences are. These additional on the WORKING server. the NON working does not have them.

I am having a little trouble installing some of the missing packaged packages due to restrictions.

Can you say if any are needed so i can ask my host the missing one. Or I think I will start chasing down if it is a permissions for executing the the IMAP part of the extension.

Strange is IMAP non SSL is ok and POP3 is ok.

Really OS ticket works best with GMAIL using IMAP from my testing so I want to use that.

Turned out to be a network issue.

It was a network issue corrupting 993 packets.

Works perfect on gmail now
