I cannot seem to get a ticket ID upon opening a ticket. I know the ID is sent via email, however it needs to be displayed on the page right after opening the ticket. All help is appreciated.

Do not display ticket number upon opening a ticket
The main reason for not displaying ticket ID upon opening a ticket, is concerning the security vulnerability.
I wrote (an article) about two years ago regarding this.
