no admin page

Hello together,

i installed osTicket V1.6.0 so far so good.

After installation, i turn to admin-pannel and get a blank side.

Errormassage:

Warning: require_once(): Unable to access Mail/mimeDecode.php in /home/www/web0/html/sigma/home/ticket/include/class.mailparse.php on line 19 Warning: require_once(Mail/mimeDecode.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/www/web0/html/sigma/home/ticket/include/class.mailparse.php on line 19 Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required 'Mail/mimeDecode.php' (include_path='.') in /home/www/web0/html/sigma/home/ticket/include/class.mailparse.php on line 19

but, there is no directory named: Mail. I got no idea, where the problem is. Please help.

what should i do, with the mimeDecode.php ?

I switch to chmod 777 include all folders, and nothing changes.

EDIT:

OK i found in class.mailparse.php:

require_once('Mail/mimeDecode.php');

require_once('Mail/RFC822.php');

here is the folderstrukture not ok, but if i change it to pear/Mail/, then i got another errormassage

from:

to:

require_once('pear/Mail/mimeDecode.php');

require_once('pear/Mail/RFC822.php');

an moving:

Mail.php

PEAR.php

PEAR5.php

RFC822.php

to include/pear/Mail

i can open the adminpannel

dont think its a bug, i recently installed it myself, and didn't have any of these issues (and there hasnt been a new version since February).

Check your version of PHP? compare to the requirements for v1.6.0

It´s the latest version from here and the requirements are checked.

PHP 5.3.3-7

short_open_tag 0n

MySQL 5.1.49

safe_mod Off

I realy don´t know, where the Problem is.

I still have problems with this software.

I tried to install V1.6 on a xampp on my homebase, an it works fine.

If i installing on my server (linux) it won´t.

If I change and move the files, i could open the acp but the errormassage:

is still there.

The only differences between xampp and my server is the php- and mysql-versions:

PHP

xampp: 5.3.5 and server.3.3-7

MySql

xampp: 5.0.7 and server: 5.1.49

If there any extraordenary changes between this versions? Or what could it be ?

I do not continue to know. Please help me.

i forgot to set cgi/pear out of cgi-folder, an so i can´t use pear :

For all the others with this Problem:

In confixx: set cgi-bin/pear out of cgi-folder

I have exactly the same problem with the newest osTicket v1.7-RC2.

I guess it's because the call "ini_set('include_path', './'.PATH_SEPARATOR.INCLUDE_DIR.PATH_SEPARATOR.PEAR_DIR);" in file main.inc.php on line 96 is not working on my server. (My because there is a php_admin_value in the vhost configuration - i'm not sure because i don't have access to it - just a guess)

In confixx: set cgi-bin/pear out of cgi-folder

I don't understand what this means, there is no cgi-bin folder in the osTicket folder structure? Do i need a cgi-bin directory?

Any other suggestions to fix this issue? I found out some people having the same problem too, and fixed the issue by patching the original source code to make the "ini_set('include_path'," call no longer necessary. This was done on a older version but i don't like this solution anyway because it breaks the update ability. Is there any other solution without patching the source code manually?
