rich text format and tables

Hi when i receive any rich text message or any message with tables in my osticket its format is lost can any body tell how to resolve this problem

I have the same problem as well, it seems it is caused by the stripping that occurs when a new ticket or email enters OSTicket.

Tables are stripped as well, also HTML emails are stripped.

Striptags are used to prevent attacks that might cause your system to break...

This is good..... but unfortunately html messages, rich text does not appear in the ticket...

I know it is not reccommended, but does somebody know how to solve this or how to dsable the striptags(or how to allow certain codes)?

To completely disable it all you would have to do is comment out the lines where it is called. To allow certain tags you can add a second parameter to the strip_tags call where you list the tags you want to allow in a string. There are examples on the above site along with user submitted comments.
