Invalid input into MySQL database

Hello,

The symbol ° won't get inserted into my subject. There's no problem for it to be inserted in the message. But because I'm not bothered with the symbol I would like to replace it using the "str_replace" function in PHP.

The only trouble I have is, I don't really know in which file I need to be looking to edit my subject with ° to #.

Probably. Something like that sounds generally like an encoding issue.
