we found a few ideas here to show the users original email but none of them worked for us...
What we would like to have:
If a user gets an answer to a question he emailed to the support the user should see his original question. By default in os ticket the user will only see the support's answer/response but not his original question.
Furthermore all correspondence should be displayed as a thread.
We tried a lot with the variable %message but that only seems to work for the automatic confirmation a user gets when he writes an email to the support.
In that case the users original question is going to be seen.
If we use that variable %message in the template for the answer the supporter sends to the user $message does not work.
Any ideas for us how we could get this working?
