I just came across this solution of ticketing and I've browse through the forum but I'm slightly confused on how the system knows to receive email to the email address you've listed. Does the email address need an email box of its own?

My webpage is hosted with 1and1 and my email service is with google apps.
So can hosting part works fine but I've created a google group of the email address but I don't believe osticket can receive those emails without an actually mailbox with either A. IMAP to it or B. pop to it.
