I'm new to osTicket but so far it looks great.
Is there a way a staff member can create a ticket and make it unassigned?

We do not assign tickets to anyone. We are a small company with a small number of IT staff handling the tickets. And if you just leave that drop down box set to -Assign to Staff- it's ultimately not assigned to anyone when you create the ticket.
