sending notifications to several admins

im trying to find a way to send 3 admins ticket notification

when opened a ticket.

Setup a mailing list on your email server. Add the three users to list. Set the email list's address as the department manager in OST. enable the department manager to get email notifications. viola.

i wonder howcome such a wonderful system doesnt have such option built in

to choose several admins that all will recieve notification ...

I had issues with OS Ticket emailing a distribution group directly and had to create a separate email account in Exchange 2003 and 2010 that forwarded the email to the distribution group.

If I email the distro group in Outlook it works, but from OS Ticket it doesn't. I can a return email saying permission denied.
