Database not working-pls help!

hey al

ost rocks, but having a stupid problem...i had to reinstall OST - server crashed...

1. I installed OST and it's working fine,

2. i imported the backed up SQL database into msql and thats working to

3. but when i log into OST it does not show any open/closed tickets from the DB, also no errors...

not sure where to look for the problem? any help would be much appreciated!

Check the php and mysql logs. Their location and filenames vary by OS and distribution. Where the php log is located and what it is named is in the php.ini.

Also check your config file for OST. its locaed in:

\include

and is named something like "settings.php" or "ost-config.php". Make sure that it is pointed to the right server, database, and table prefix.
