Powerd by OS ticket tagline!

Hello there

I am a satisfied user of OS ticket system for over a year.

I have not removed the tag "powered by OS Ticket" from anywhere. Everything is kept default to give (due) credit to OS ticket system.

However it is bit unusual to have something like this appearing at user end

"As a show of support, we ask that you leave powered by osTicket link to help spread the word. Thank you! --> "

It confuses the site user that whether this message is for them or something else.

How to remove this "statement" from of OS ticket?

Can someone please help me out?

That looks rather like a bug to me.

In footer.inc.php, you'll see a comment line beginning with ">". Just remove the ">" so that the "" at the end of the line closes the comment instead.

Yes, that was supposed to be commented out.

It can be removed by fixing the comment line in:

/include/client/footer.inc.php
