Disabling All Email Templates For a Department?

Hello,

I am new to the forum and I did do some searches but came up short, so sorry if it exists and sorry if I am in the wrong section.

Problem: I have several staff members of a department that wants to send and reply to emails on a personal level (let's call it sales).

I want to disable all email templates that are sent for this department?

Is there a mod that does this?

Is there a character that I add to the template that wont show in the email?

Yes I know what you are thinking, why are you using a ticket system for this process :?

It allows all of us to use one email system for different tasks.

I'm not aware of a mod currently that does this. However, you could edit and trim down the templates so that the generic information what gets sent isn't as verbose. Put the templates into the canned responses, and then support personnel could utilize canned responses to put it back in. It's sort of a work-around. You can edit the templates at:

Admin Panel -> Emails -> Templates

Thanks for that, i thought of that but I still don't think it will work.

Is there a symbol that I can use that doesn't show up?
