Add Item to existing dropdown - e.g. priority

Hi,

I was just wondering what the steps would be to add another value in the priority combo box and if someone could point me in the right direction please? I'm guessing it's something that's been done before, but i'm just starting out really and was looking for some newbie help!

Is it just a case of adding an additional priority in mysql or do i need to amend the php too?

I think i've sorted out my own question here...i just added a new priority row in the mysql 'ost_ticket_priority' table and that seems to have done the trick.

I'm trying to do the same thing but am not having any success. I am logged in the database, and have navigated to the ost_ticket_priority table.

It has the following:

priority_id

priority

priority_desc

priority_color

priority_urgency

ispublic

I went ahead and created a row below ispublic called "test_priority"

Not sure what I am missing here, any insight would be really helpful.

Figured it out as well. Open the priority_id table. Add a new row below emergency. I created two new ones, shelved and it notes. You can also adjust the html color codes of OSticket. Make sure to set the priority urgency correctly, as that is how OSticket weights the tickets in the list. Also, make the "ispublic" field one if you have multiple users that are not administrators accessing the ticketing system.
