More info may help...
I gather the method used is fairly unique to OST as we don't have the same issue with other web based applications
Hi Michael,
Can you please provide some info on your hosting environment?
For example the following information may help shed some light on potential issues:
1. I'm assuming your installation is not housed within your LAN, so is it on shared, reseller, semi-dedicated, VPS or a dedicated server
1a. If VPS or dedicated is it managed within the company or by the provider?
1b. Who hosts the other web apps you use? E.g. the developers (SaaS model) or yourself?
2. What type of server OS are you running? E.g. a Linux distribution, Windows, etc
3. What PHP version is being run?
4. Do your internet connections have static IPs or dynamic IPs?
The thing is osTicket uses a pretty standard PHP SESSION structure for login, nothing really unique about it. I use very similar methods for the web apps I build.
I have an idea however it may take me a couple of days to a week for me to build and test because I'm quite busy at the moment, it will be experimental so I'm not sure if it will work or not but there is no harm in trying... can you do me a favour and send me a message to remind me in a day or 2?
Cheers,
Ryan
