I am New in osTicket. I installed wamp server in My Win XP SP2.:
I installed osTicket in wamp server , Its Installed fine & I am very happy with It.
Now I have Domain with one E Mail Id like support@mydomain.in, :)
I can use this email id in Outlook. Default E Mail Viewer is onsite Smart Mail.
Is it possible Make osTicket online for support on this domain with wamp server on my desktop.
My Queries are Followings :
(1) If I have E Mail Id like support@mydomain.in, then Is it Possible that if Client Mail Me on this E Mail Id, osTicket create Ticket it self & Reply with auto response & ticket id?
Here Assume Wampserver as Server in my Desktop. When ever I come online cron should take all emails as tickets.
(2) If I have more than One E Mail Ids as said above like support@mydomain.in, helpdesk@mydomain.in etc. How to Configure Mail Id's to osTicket?
I am Sorry but I am New in osTicket & Confused.
Default Wamp server is not support Email Sending & Receiving so I can not Get it working.
I Request to Give Me Step-by-Step Instruction or Guide for Cron & E Mail Setup on support@mydomain.in.
I have read E Mail wiki but Don't Understand E Mail Piping or Cron etc. so can anybody Describe this Processes in Details.
