Email Ticket Creation

Hello, I can not see how to configure ticket creation by email feature. Any suggestions appreciated. Looks like a awesome system!

Go to Admin Panel -> Emails -> The address that you are trying to use to get mail.

Host Name and Port

I see thank you, then there are mail account settings. What would I use for the host and port settings? I am familiar with setting up pop email in Outlook for instance but have not needed to use host and port settings before.

host is your mail server.

port is generally the port that the protocol that you wish to use will communicate on.

From memory:

25 SMTP

110 POP3

143 IMAP

465 Secure SMTP

585 Secure IMAP

993 SSL IMAP

995 SSL POP3

Getting close!

I found the correct port and my settings were accepted but now I get the Mcrypt erro in my logs and new tickets are not created. I understand I have to get Mcrypt installed but shouldn't the system still receieve and create new emails regardless?
