Con Job Error

I have configured the cron job to run, but i keep getting the following error messages mailed to me

/home/informat/public_html/tickets/api/cron.php: line 1: ?php: No such file or directory

/home/informat/public_html/tickets/api/cron.php: line 2: /_rvdynamicaddon: Permission denied

/home/informat/public_html/tickets/api/cron.php: line 3: cron.php: command not found

/home/informat/public_html/tickets/api/cron.php: line 5: syntax error near unexpected token `('

/home/informat/public_html/tickets/api/cron.php: line 5: ` File to handle cron job calls (local and remote).'

Assistance would be appreciated

Please post how you configured your cronjob.

It sounds/looks like the file is not being run via php interpreter.

Why is your website directory running under a user directory and not in the file system?

/home/informat/public_html/tickets/api/cron.php:

This can change server to server, but as an example the virtual hosting environment we run has the sites under the following path:

/srv/www//public_html

Our user directories are under the following path:

/home//

Verify the actual path to your website and update your cron job to reflect this if required.
