I setup a brand new install Windows XP SP3, VMware Server 2.0.2, Ubuntu 11.04 Desktop w/ PHP & Apache, osTicket 1.6 all on it's own IP.
Problem that I'm having anytime staff or admin logs on to osTicket, you can't navigate anywhere because osTicket is unresponsive until it's done checking something which usually takes 1-2 minutes. Has something to do with email or cron jobs. When it's done then I can resume working in osTicket.
** Update: unchecking "Enable cron call on staff's activity" fixed the above issue.
When it generates tickets and starts e-mailing out it hangs for a bit until the e-mail goes out. When a user hits submit and creates a new ticket it hangs for a bit.
It's basically connecting back to our Windows 2008 Server/Exchange 2007 on a different IP for e-mail. I set it up for IMAP SSL.
Any help would be appreciated... do I need to enable or disable something in PHP?
Seems like when a cron job or e-mail task of some sort is going it temporarily locks up osTicket for a bit until it's done.
