users cannot change there name in osticket

Users can change their name, they cannot change their username. This is intentional. If they changed their name then there would have to be alot more code to handle changing all of the database entries that may reference that particular username.

How can user change his or her name associated with his or her email ID ?

Staff Panel > My Account > Change first,last names.

I do not have a option to change the name associated with email ID "xxx@asdasd.com"

When I do Ticket Status

Email: xxx@asdasd.com

Click "Check Status"

This will show all tickets associated with email ID "xxx@asdasd.com"

Then I have option

Admin

or

Home

or

New Ticket

or

My Ticket

or

Log Out

But I do not have a option to change the name associated with email ID "xxx@asdasd.com"
