I am a starter regarding osTicket, first of all I would describe the goals to be reached:
- Incoming ticket shall generate a email, which will be sent to the admin of the ticket system.
- Admin will then assign the new ticket to one of the employees (called agents, right?).
- Agent shall only see the ticket and have the right to close it.
- Admin shall see all ticktes and their current status and time when it was opened and when it was closed by the agent.
Especially the point "assigning to agent": Is it possible with osTicket?
