white screen after clicking install

Hi,

Im trying to install osTicket,

iv met all th requirements to install , ive made sure the following is enabled in my php.ini file short_open_tag be on.

after filling out all the fields in the installation page and then clicking next

I get a blank white page with no indication of what happend.

No errors in httpd logs.

Any Ideas what has happend?

the database I chose to use is empty and not much has happend.. and backend debuging on the installtion script?

I presume that you made the db, username, password first and tested it?

Try re-uploading the contents of the "upload" folder to your site.

Try running it again.

You would also want to check your php logs. (location of the logs vary by OS and custom config but the php.ini will tell you where they are.)

Actually having the same issue. Created database and database user. Granted all privs on database to that user. short_open_tag already enabled in Debian Squeeze.

I tried enabling error reporting in main.inc.php, but I still get the white screen after filling in all the values required by setup.php.

Ideas?
