Internet Explorer 7/8/9 SLOW!

When I access OSTicket in Google Chrome or Firefox it's fast as can be. When I try to use it from Internet Explorer versions 7, 8 or 9 it is slow as can be. This would not be an issue, if our 1500 users used Chrome or Firefox. Everyone in our company uses IE 8 or 7. Anyone else experiencing the same issue?

This is a brand new installation...

VMWare ESXi

Ubuntu 10.10 virtual machine

4GB Ram

Hmm... I just did some quick testing across 4-5 different installs and couldn't detect any difference in performance in IE. Is IE slow to access other pages on the VM?

I only have OSTicket installed on that webserver at the moment. But this morning I dumped another site out there and didn't seem to have any issues..

I can't see how the machine would be the problem. It has 2 cores dedicated to it on top of the 4 GB ram and 40GB of space on our SAN.

It turns out our problem is not related to strictly IE. Apparently one of the other admins is having the same problem using Chrome and I've experienced the same problems in Chrome from time-to-time as well. On login, the browser acts as if the site is not going to respond to it's login post, but eventually it does login. (2-3 minutes later)

Thoughts?

No - when enabled it can cause slowness due to mail fetching.

It's hard to guess what could be causing the issue in your situation without access to your installation.

unfortunately, due to the nature of our business I cannot provide access. Is there any other things I can look into that could possibly be causing the issue? Can I provide logs of any sort?
