No e-mails

Hello...

I've finally come to the point where I can make tickets and so on... But when I create a ticket, no e-mail is sent to the one I've filled it... Neither is one sent to an admin or anything... So no Ticket ID are known.

I have put all the e-mail settings on enable, but no success. I am really new to PHP and these kind of systems, so I don't have great knowledge.

I really hope someone can help me, because this piece of software is great for my company.

What Mailer are you using? What do the mailer logs show?

We use Microsoft Exchange... everyone in our company has their own e-mail adres ending with @[deleted]

Mailer logs? Where can I see those? Sorry, haven't got much knowledge...

I'm not much of an Exchange person either. Sounds like you might want to check with your IT folks to have them check the server logs to see what kind of errors you're getting.

If no errors, then the emails aren't even making it to exchange, which implies a php problem perhaps.

I've checked the server logs, I'm the administrator myself. Nothing there about e-mails from osticket... So I'm guessing the last... it doesn't even reach MS exchange.

What could I do? I'm worried since it's probably a PHP problem, and I hardly know anything about PHP... I really want to use this ticketing system.

Who can help me?

Please help. Is there no pre-configuration needed in order to send emails? or should it be working instantly?

Is it possible I've configured something wrong, like in MySQL? I hadnt worked with that before either.

I am running it locally by the way, for our company only... Port 80 is closed. And it's on exchange and it will only have to send e-mails to our users that all have an exchange email account.

That can't be the issue right?
