Hello all! First off I want to say that what a great ticketing system! We have a new service here at the business I manage the IT department for. We have over 1000 different businesses that dispatch drivers and whatnot to locations. My question is. Is there a possibility someone create a MOD that will allow someone to create a ticket and designate a "Reply Contact Email Address"?
Basically,
we run a delivery business for some businesses and we want the drivers to feel safe. We want them to be able to upload a picture of a house or a license plate around them and update it onto the ticket. Heres what my main priority is....We want them to be able to specify a contact that will be notified if they dont update the ticket or close it within a certain time frame they specify. Lets say Jim goes to deliver milk at 61 Bronx street and sees a yellow fan with a guy inside waving a gun around. Jim snaps a picture and loads in into his ticket along with contact he would like to be notified after 30 minutes if the ticket isnt updated to show that something may be wrong. Does anyone get what I am asking? Its hard to type and express. I know what I want. Please let me know if you have a hard time grasping the idea.
Currently we pay thousands of dollars for a system that does similar and I made a guarentee to that company I would find a solution that does just that. Id like to show my boss that OSTicket, although a free alternative to most communication and support tools, can be a #1 choice.
