change status and open buttons

hi i was searching the forum and didnt really find the answer to my question

i was wanting to change the grey open and check status buttons but havent been able to figure it out it...

however i did notice that the buttons are not an acual image so i dont know how or what i am looking for

i have a couple of buttons i made my self that i want to replace them with... if someone could help i would appreciate it.

All the form buttons just standard form submit buttons styled with CSS. The HTML is in the ones on the main page are in the index.php file.

open and status buttons

These are the 2 different codes that i remotely see im not sure if there exactly what i am looking for or how to make it

use an image as a button as appose to using the css

Yes, that's them.

You can either change the markup there, or modify the CSS rules for the button2 class (which I don't believe actually has any CSS rules defined beyond maybe alignment).

Thanks for the help you provided me..... i didnt know if u or anyone else would be able to solve this last problem

i finally for the images i wanted to appear.... and the left side for the open new ticket works perfectly it opens the open.php

but the right side for checking the status i have to change somthing in the coding to make it work properly i didnt know if u knew how to make osticket check the status of the ticket with the code i have

the problem is when your at the main page of osticket on the right side you enter your email and ticket number and it just takes you to the ticket page it doesnt acually check the status

the only code i have found to put on there that allows the image is this one but i need the 2nd part to figure out so it checks the status when they click the button

i have also tried changing the part of the code to tickets.php and login.php and view.php

It's not checking anything because you're not submitting the form.

<input type="submit" class="button2" value="Check Status">

to:

<input type="image" src="./images/view1.jpg">

or:

<a href="#" onclick="this.parentNode.parentNode.submit(); return false;"><IMG alt="blank" src="./images/view1.jpg"></IMG></a>
