Emails sent my osticket have strange word wrap.

Hello all,

I have osticket installed on a centos 5 server running httpd-2.2.3-43, php-5.2.17, and osticket-1.6.0. I am having trouble getting the emails sent by the system to display properly.

All the emails that get sent are line wrapped at 77 characters no matter what. This causes a few problems including breaking URL links. I have read and searched through the threads in this forum to try and find a solution, but none of them seem to work my situation.

Does anyone have any suggestions or can I provide some data to help troubleshoot?

Interesting Information

I installed the same version of osticket on a different server running php5.1.6-24 instead of php5.2.17. Could this be a problem or difference with the newer php?

OK, so I downgraded php on the server that isn't working to php5.1.6. It is still showing the same word wrap problem, so now I'm back to thinking it's not a php problem. Does anyone have any ideas?

After reading through more of the posts for similar issues, i found that some people had luck with specifying an STMP server for emails. This is an acceptable workaround for now. Thanks for all who took the time to read this!
