Hello I'm new to the forums and extraordinarily excited about this system. I'm getting the

Invalid SQL schema. Get help from Developers

I'm not sure how to resolve this. I've tried modifying the code from a (post 3 years ago )that I assumed would output more details on the sql statement but made no difference.

My team and I would really like to implement this and hope to hear some ideas on this issue. Thank you in advance for the assist.

My apologies, I posted this and realized later that I neglected information. I am running a windows server 2003 with WAMP. Database backend is MySql. Have many test application on the server who do not return the same issues when connecting the database. Thanks again in advance.

What's the MySQL version number? What database engine are you using (MyISAM or InnoDB)? Have you tried copying the SQL files in the setup directory over again, or opening the SQL files in a text editor and making sure they're complete/not corrupt?

I was installing osTicket on my development server when I ran into this problem. I installed this on my production server and it ran like a champ. I am still a little curious as to why it did not like to cooperate during the installation on my development server.

Server: localhost (MySQL host info: localhost via TCP/IP)

Server version: 5.1.36-community-log

As far as the database engine, I'm afraid that I do not know. I'm quite knew to the programming field.

I also am not to sure of the directory structure of osTIcket and have not been able to find the sql statements.

Did you tried to reupload all files again? If no, try to do it. You can also try to upload all files to the different directory and install it again. Then you will see where the problem is.

I had the same error and found out that I was not allowed to DROP TABLE, so I removed the DROP TABLE statements from the setup/inc/osticket-v1.6.sql file and after that the installation went well.
