I am looking for someone who can mod osticket to do the following..
add customer number field and make it required
remove requirement from email field.
split customer name into first and last
add extra for phone numbers
-basically the same form that adding new staff have, with the key being customer number.
all tickets will be tracked by customer (their customer number not email)
someone made a mod for clients, but this needs to be handled by staff not self serve by the clients. Clients should only be able to view status all other client functions (self registration / ticket creation ) needs to be removed.
when creating a ticket, the ability to select an existing customer by customer number or search. Or create new on the fly with checking against the customer database to prevent duplicates.
I run a computer repair business and would like to use this to track service. None of witch will be client driven it will be all at the counter transactions.
