osTicket cuts off eMail subjects

Hi,

osTicket works fine so far. But if I receive mail-tickets osTicket cuts off the subject. I've allready checked the database and code of mailfetch and ticket classes but i have no clue what the problem is.

Example: Subject -> "Nur lesender Zugriff nach Projektanlage Ambulanz"

osTicket result: "Nur lesender Zugriff nach Projektanlage"

Is there anybody who can help me? Thanx!!

i know this thread is quite old - but i currently have the same issue. for me it seems that the subject line gets cut if there is a "umlaut" in it...

does naybody know what i can do to correct this?

btw: the same happens with the "name" transfered via the senders email system... if this does contain an umlaut it also gets cut off

There are several posts about this topic on the forums and the fix for it. Which entails changing the character set that OSTicket uses. I think that most of them talk about German.

yes, i also discovered the different post after i posted this one. unfortunatelly non of them resolves the "umlaut" issue system wide...
