I have an application where I need to define and assign specific tasks to clients. Once a task is assigned to a user I would want to use Osticket to associate a unique autoresponse message and have periodic alerts (i.e. every 7 days up to 28days) sent to users until that task is completed.
Obviously this means OSticket would need to monitor the status of a task from a table in my application. Has anyone implemented something like this where I would have a dashboard in OS ticket on the status of outstanding support ticket tasks?
Any suggestions on how to implement something like this? Which OS ticket features could I use?
