I just finished setting up a new 1.6.0 install and setup mail fetch to one of my email accounts.
I created and sent two tickets and replied as a test. But when the pop mail fetch ran it started creating 1000's of tickets from all the mail that was on the pop server (it stays there for 15 days). I would have expected it to filter the mail based on ticket id or something in the mail header.
And what is weird is that some of the responses had new tickets created for them rather than being attached to the existing ticket.
What a mess! I just spent several hours cleaning up the DB using SQL. I shut the fetch off in the Admin Panel. But I need to have mail fetch working.
What could be causing this problem?
