error on installation

i'm getting the following errors when installing osticket

can some one please HELP!@!!!!!!!!!!

osTicket version 1.6 Stable - Basic installation

Congratulations osTicket basic installation completed!

Important!

Congratulations your new support ticket system is installed. Your next step is to fully configure your new support ticket system for use, but before you get to it please take a minute to cleanup.

Change permission of ost-config.php to remove write access

chmod 644 include/ost-config.php

Delete setup directory

After verifying that your installation completed correctly please delete setup folder.

Disable register globals (optional)

If you don't have a good reason why register globals is enabled then please disable it.

Post-Install Setup

You can now log in to Admin Panel with the username and password you created during the install process. After a successful log in, you can proceed with post-install setup. For complete and upto date guide see osTicket wiki

Please note that the system is set to offline by default - as admin you can still login to staff control panel.

Authentication Required

my installation went of ok but as soon as i what to log into Admin Panel i get the following error "Authentication Required" can some one please advise

Hope you don't mind, but I merged these since they're the same issue.

The problem is that your session save path isn't configured correctly. You can either fix it by editing your php.ini file, or contacting your host if you don't have access to do that.

You may also be able to set it at runtime using session_save_path() if your host allows it.

Make sure the session save directory (in this case /var/php_sessions/) exists and is writeable by PHP.
