is there a way for a client to get into their tickets by entering their email address and a password instead of a ticket number?

im sure there is a mod for this somewhere. please help.. thanks!

Just using the ticket number i think its quit easy to 'hack' another persons message...In our case the support requests are quit confidential, so we are looking for a solution for this..

osTicket Username and Login???

Anyone? I've seen a few posts on this, but almost NOTHING as far as an actual working solution! I was hoping to avoid having to write this myself!

Ostcket seems the best solution, but sin that lacks the opportunity to login from users. I hope that the soon to be implemented.

Incidentally, when it launches the new version 1.7?

The short answer is no. It doesn't look like it yet. I have 1.7 installed and it is still similar to 1.6 in that regard.

I would like this feature as well. The ticket number and email thing just doesn't work with internal usage. mainly because the user would need to know their ticket number to get into see all their tickets. Seems counter-intuitive in that sense. Although, let me qualify that I LOVE this system. :)
