%assigned_staff template variable not working

For me, the replaceTemplateVars function in class.ticket.php returns all the correct replacements except for %assigned_staff

I get a blank response every time even though we have mandatory ticket assignment at creation time.

all of these replacements work as expected -> %id, %ticket, %email, %name, %subject, %topic, %phone, %status, %priority, %dept, %createdate, %duedate, %closedate, %url

this single one doesn't -> %assigned_staff

Anyone else seen this problem ?

solved,

the assigned staff id is not written out till after the variables are replaced, so it couldn't possibly work.

changed the create function in ticket.class to output staff id at insert time.

variable substitution works now.
