Subdomain issue

Hello all,

I have osTicket installed at the top of a directory (on a sever running IIS and Plesk).

I have several other subdomains (physical subdomains set up in Plesk) which are working fine. However, when I create a new subdomain, it is redirected to the osTicket installation.

For example, subdomain-old.domain.com works as it was created prior to osTicket installation. However, subdomain-new.domain.com goes right to domain.com and was created after osTicket installation.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Doesn't really seem like an osTicket related issue. I'd check with your web host. osTicket doesn't have any kind of .htaccess rewrites or redirect for 404's, etc. so your problem is somewhere in the DNS.

Silly questions since it's IIS, when you setup the new web page did you remember to point it to the right path?

Did you also go into Site Bindings and setup your hostname? (You also might check the site settings for your osticket install.)

Was a Plesk error, had nothing to do with osTicket. Thanks for the suggestions though!

Glad that you figured it out. You may want to post what your solution was regardless just in case someone else trying to install OST runs into something similar.
