Fatal error: Call to undefined function db_connect()

Hi,

being a newbie, it might sounds stupid but i try.

Win2k8R2

PHP5

MYSQL 5.1

while clicking on Install button from the basic installation form i get the following message

Fatal error: Call to undefined function db_connect() in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\Helpdesk\setup\install.php on line 102

Do I need to change anything in the install.php file or in the database itself?

solved

the mysql.php file was empty somehow. just replaced it with the original and I reach the next page
